My dearest readers,
As I promised in α previous blog post, I am going to write a series review about Sherlock, the BBC series.
The series begins with Sherlock’s efforts to find a roommate. So, Stamford, introduces them and that is why we have the first meeting with John Watson. John is a veteran with a lot of trauma from war. Their adventures begin and we see their friendship forming. Many great mysteries and secrets are going to be revealed step step.
I think that we can all agree that the BBC series is by far the best when it comes to the legend of Sherlock Holmes. A great production with the best possible cast! Benedict Cumberbatch is the best possible choice when it comes to Sherlock.
The BBC series is…to the point. To the point with the actors, the storyline and the Sherlock Holmes books. Of course, there are differences between the book and the TV series but that’s is not something that causes harm to the series.
If I say something bad about this series is that it is a great show but a small one. I would really love to see more of Sherlock’s past. What difficulties did he face in school, university and of course his first steps as a detective. Furthermore I would love to see more of the future. What happened with Molly, John’s daughter, Mycroft etc. Such amazing shows shouldn’t be canceled so soon. This magical work of art should be continued. As we say…the more the merrier.
I honestly believe that “Sherlock” is worth watching. You are going to have a great time with many didactic benefits!
